Barcelona Van Der Rohe Style Daybed

Inspired by renowned designer Mies van der Rohe, this new version of the Barcelona Daybed uses Mies' signature command of the sleek lines that made him famous as both an architect and furniture designer.  The Barcelona Daybed is based on the renowned seats and chairs that debuted at the 1929 World's Fair in Barcelona. They appeared in the German Pavilion. The seat design derived from the classic, scissor-like collapsible stools that Egyptian and Roman rulers used during the Classical Period.
